Our concept: United in Poetry
On Friday afternoon, November 14, Europe Direct Eindhoven and students from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences Maastricht are organizing "United through Poetry." During this event, we will use the power of poetry to express themes and topics related to Europe. Think of its impressive history, art and culture, values and diversity, but it could also be about climate change, war and peace, or migration. But certainly also the meaning of Europe and the European Union for you in your daily life.

Performance on stage
Everyone can participate. Will you join in? Will you join in with poetry? Parktheater Eindhoven offers you a professional stage. It can be a poem by yourself or someone else. Any language is allowed.
Remote Performance
Everyone can participate, even if you can't make it to Eindhoven. Submit a suitable poem, preferably in your native language or dialect. An English translation would be helpful. Or even better, recite one or more poems from your own location, make a video of it, and send it to us. Please use landscape format.
Mixed Products
Live performances, and we will create a video and digital booklet from all submissions. This way, we create a poetic kaleidoscope of the European Union.

• 2:00 PM Doors open
• 2:30 PM Poetry performances in the magnificent hall, the Kameleon in the Parktheater Eindhoven
• Intermezzos
• 5:00 PM Closing
• Informal gathering
Poetry Rules: The poem should preferably be:
• In your own style, it doesn't have to be classical poetry. Slam poetry, spoken word, or rap are also acceptable.
• All languages are permitted: the local language, your native language, a minority language, or a dialect, preferably accompanied by an English translation of the poem, or we can create one together.
• Participants in this event agree that the presented poems may be distributed by the organizers and that you may be recorded (photos or video).
• Submit your poem in advance, by November 12, 2025, to the email address
